Mel

Hi, I'm Mel. I am the owner and head groomer of Canny Cuts Dog Grooming. I have always been passionate about dogs and always knew that one day I would work with them. After leaving the Army with 13 years of service behind me, I knew the only job for me was dog grooming! I have 3 wonderful dogs of my own and I worry about where they go and who is looking after them, so I treat every dog I meet like one of my own and provide them with a service and care for them like I wish my dogs to be treated by others.

I carried out my dog grooming training at The Bristles in Oswestry, Shropshire, and gained qualifications in the following: Canine Health and First Aid Dog Grooming Practical and Theory Salon Management.

I then went on to complete the City & Guilds Level 3 Intro to Dog Grooming and the OCN First Aid for Companion Animals qualification at Allbreeds Grooming Academy in Brierly Hill.

I am now fully qualified and hold the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists. I am working towards further qualifications on a continuous basis. My favourite dogs to groom are terriers and Border Collies.

Hi, I'm Jess. I have been grooming now for 11 years and have lots of experience with different breeds and styles. I have been working at Canny Cuts Dog Grooming since October 2022. 

My favourite dogs to groom are poodles and poodle crosses, especially in Asian Fusion style.

Hi, I'm Ri. I have been working at Canny Cuts Dog Grooming since 2021 as a bather and grooming assistant. I have 2 chihuahuas, 2 XL bullies, and a Pomeranian.
