Meet Your Groomers
Hi, I'm Mel. I am the owner and groomer of Canny Cuts Dog Grooming. I have always been passionate about dogs and always knew that one day I would work with them. After leaving the Army with 13 years service behind me, I knew the only job for me was dog grooming! I have four wonderful dogs of my own and I worry about where they go and who is looking after them, so I treat every dog I meet like one of my own and provide them with a service and care for them like I wish my dogs to be treated by others. I carried out my dog grooming training at The Bristles in Oswestry, Shropshire, and gained qualifications in the following: Canine Health and First Aid Dog Grooming Practical and Theory Salon Management. I then went on to complete the City & Guilds Level 3 Intro to Dog Grooming and the OCN First Aid for Companion Animals qualification at Allbreeds Grooming Academy in Brierly Hill. I am now fully qualified and hold the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists. I am working towards further qualifications on a continuous basis. My favourite dogs to groom are terriers.
Hi, I'm Elly. I started working at Canny Cuts Dog Grooming in March 2015 as an apprentice. I now hold the City and Guilds Level 3 Introduction to Dog Grooming qualification and am working my way towards the Level 3 Diploma. I have 2 English Springer Spaniels and an American Bulldog of my own, and my favourite dogs to groom are Cockerpoos.
Hi, I'm Paige. I started working at Canny Cuts Dog Grooming in July 2016 as an apprentice. I now run the bathing and prep area in the back, making sure all of the dogs that come in are cleaned and dried appropriately ready for the groomers to style the dogs. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. My favourite dogs are Great Danes and Leonbergers.
