Canny Cuts Covid 19 Policy
Due to the corona virus outbreak, we have updated our policies for the safety of our clients and staff.
We are currently operating as normal and intend to do so for as long as possible to ensure dogs skin and coat are maintained as much as possible before the government states that we are all on lock down, if at all.
You will notice that in the salon we have some hand sanitiser on the counter. We respectfully request that everybody who comes in uses this on arrival at the very least. The pump will then be wiped down with an antibacterial wipe after each person has used it.
All pens and stationery used will be wiped down after each person has used it, as will the counter.
To minimise contact and keep to the suggested "social distancing" guidelines, the groomers will stay behind the desk at all times. We will open the gate, step back and ask that you pass your dog into the grooming area. We will remain at a distance as much as is safely possible for you and your dog and carry out our usual consultation. When your dog is ready to be collected, we will contact you as normal. The gate will be opened and your dog will be given back to you. All door handles etc will also be sanitised after each person.
We are still accepting cash and cards payments as usual, but we would prefer card at the moment as getting to the bank is limited. The card machine will be sanitised after each use.
If there is another client in the shop, we ask that you keep your distance from one another. The government has suggested that this be 2 foot or 3 steps away at all times.
For those that are in the vulnerable category, we can meet you outside of the salon if this is more suitable for you. We are currently unable to offer a collection and drop off service for the time being, but this may be subject to change in the future.
If you have any of the symptoms, please self isolate as advised. If you do not want to come out, please do what you need to. We do not want people to put themselves or their family at risk. If you are unable to make it, please let us know as soon as you can as we could fill the appointment slot. There will be no fee for late cancellations during this time.
